Links by me and SoLong

Being a noob to this site, I made a blog post about a cool weather related site. I had some feedback and inadvertently deleted somebody's comment. So I'm re-posting my original blog post and a link shared by SoLong.

My link: Interactive Global Weather

His Link:

Sorry SoLong, I deleted your comment by mistake. I have poor eye sight and thought I was clicking the reply button.

bimmi for tiki 26

I would like to buy construction plans for tiki 26 or 30 . I would like to know if the 26 tiki can have a bimmi installed with enough room for sitting under when sailing.

The Launch!

Even though I was more or less ready last year it took me again almost until the end of summer to finally launch my boat! It was awsome but as you can see almost no wind (so I still wait for a real test):…

Hourua Reflections

We've now owned Hourua for 3 years and still learning how to sail her efficiently. Since we finally got her down to Singapore we have been racing her at our club, Changi Sailing Club. We have managed to surprise everyone, including ourselves with our performance, regularly winning on handicap in a mixed fleet of boats. First Cruise

Back in October 2013 when Gratitude went into her wintering barn for renovation, the spring seemed too far away and there was plenty of time for all the work. Come March, much progress had been made and a date was fixed with a friend for our sea trials.

I'd bought Gratitude, my first sailing boat, at the end of last year after borrowing her for a few test sails. There was a bit of work to do, but essentially she was sea worthy. As the winter wore on, the paint was stripped…
