boat coming onto trailer

"yes Rod- I crank those pads nice and tight so I suppose they provide some small weight transfer but you are right- vast majority of the weight is on the rollers"

"Pipe scaffold pads - you just answered one of my questions. So when trailering, the weight of the boat is sitting on rollers and the pads are stabilizing the hulls? Is that how it works? brilliant!"

"Thank you, so much for posting these photos, Curt. This is inspiring. If you can do this with a Tiki 30 at 220 pounds dry weight, it should be much easier to do for the Man 24 at 990 pounds."

Curt, I appreciate the donation.

Per the plans, you are supposed to use straps to hold the Tiki 30 beams. I simply used a ratchet on the strap instead of the crappy friction buckle system referred to in the plans. The only modification is to use a ratchet instead of a buckle, that's it.

Come visit any time.

Deck-pads yes very fussy indeed I think it would be nearly impossible to get them all perfect. Wonder if it would be wise to put some sort of rubber pad out top of that
