I took part in a club race yesterday. Has anyone got a handicap rating for a Tiki 21 ?

Roger said he got rated down to 160 or 170 something PHRF on Little Cat

does anyone have a rating for a tiki 26?!

Little Cat started with 216 from the Bay Area Multihull Association rating, and is down to 168 with the addition of an asymmetric spin. Somewhere in between is probably about right. Rating the Tiki is tough because she is fast across the wind compared to most monos, but is slow upwind (compared to even similar sized monos) unless conditions are ideal (e.g. flat with no tide and plenty of wind). If winds are light, forget about it.

a wharram tane was given 1116 in 1981 by rya

i guess that is a portsmouth number?

Yes, our local rating is phrf. You might want to try looking up the Texel rating.

Ha ! Yes, we did a coastal race last year. The wind was very light and on the nose. We finished 1 1/2 hrs after the others (many who gave up and motored)
