looking for a pahi 31 to 42 or tiki of same sort of size

Hi does anyone know of any of the above for sale?

    We almost bought a tiki 31 but some one got there before us!

We are willing to travel anywhere in europe or east coast of America / Carribbean .

   Something with a small amount of work to be done would be great as we would like to design the interior to suit our needs .

Hi thats a very nice offer !
Our only problem is the budjet.
We have 15 to 17000 pounds sterling to spend and are looking for a project boat for around about 8000 pounds sterling that I could then work on myself.
I have done a fair amount of bout building both fibre glass and wood and worked for cygnus marine in cornwall and at Camper and Nicholsons in Gosport.
What sort of price would you charge for a tiki / Pahi aroubd about the 30 to 40 foot range? And would you be intersted in doing some kind of work exchange to keep the costs down?
I know its a big ask but if you doesnt ask you dont get!!!:)
Where are you located ?
We are looking at moving to the Bahamas sometime in the future which is why we were looking at Wharrams.

Hi David. That's a bit of a bummer! But was not meant to be which means there's a better boat out there for you. Why not consider one of the Classic Wharrams? I'm thinking a Tangaroa or Narai. These are good, strong boats with a lot of miles behind them. As with all boats, it is important that you or a surveyor do a thorough check prior to purchasing, but you could get a lot more bang for your buck! There have been a few discussions surrounding the Classics on here, so take some time and read these. Í owned a Tangaroa a few years back, and they are a comfortable cruising boat for a couple, easy to sail and work on and acres of deck space. With some clever planning, the layout can be improved from the original plans which makes it a far more "user-friendly" boat, without compromising the structure ie safety. Some food for thought! Keep an eye on these two, Beware though that Wharrams that do sell at rock bottom prices is usually for a good reason as a "restoration" job may end up costing you a lot more money and time.

There's an unfinished Tiki 38 on page 2 on the Wharram Classified that may suit. IMHO You'd be better off with an "unfinished" than a "restoration" project, where you'd be picking up from where the other guy left off rather than doing a lot of dead work.
More a Pirates than a POTC fan, I was reading about Ed Teach and messing about in boats when the rest of my peers were playing football. Pirates of the Carribbean is good entertainment for what it is, Audrie and I often kick back on a rainy weekend with a couple of bottles of wine throw on the box set and have a few laughs, brings me back to my childhood.
