My Pod is almost complete but I'm getting concerned that the decking is not going to be stiff enough without some kind of forward aft  framing-I hope I'm just being needlessly alarmed- After all things worked out up till now-

Hey John,i was fitting my motor to my tiki 26 yesterday and the cockpit deck flexes too,if that is any kind of consolation.

Not sure of the ply thickness on tiki 30? I built a boat out of 9mm and had this problem on the floor of the deck, even with 3 longitudinal fames ruining the length (6 ft). I solved it by adding heavier frames (30mm x60mm hardwood, 3pcs, 30mm touching the bottom) screwed to the bottom with big screws entering the wood at diff angles.
