Bought Luckyfish from builder Dan Hardwicke in Sth Africa in 2014. Sailed from Cape Town to Windward Islands 2015/16 with all female crew from Mongolia - the first Mongolians to sail across an ocean. Sharing our experiences via vlogging and blogging.
Looking to?
Return to LF in Jan 2017 and cruise to the Hui in May, then?. Trying to help balance the narrative about "needing all the bells and whistles" to enjoy cruising on a catamaran.

UPDATE: 2018 plans to cruise Florida, Bahamas and finish season in Panama and continue sharing adventures and How-To's via Youtube to help others realise their dreams.

Sad passing of Akhona, co-builder of Luckyfish

Today with sadness I post this tribute from Dan Hardwicke in South Africa, the builder of Luckyfish, to his co-worker Akhona Bayana, who has sadly passed away. He fought a lifelong battle with illness finally succumbing to TB. Reading this, one can see Dan was surrogate family for Akhona and so to Dan I extend our sympathies for losing a loved one.
