"Because the anchor was set whilst the boat dragged , it is possible that now the boat has re-anchored itself , possibly near Lady Elliot Island or other Bunker Group reefs. Perhaps at this late stage the boat is a total loss."

Wharram Hinemoa straps

Hinemoa is waiting for completion of trailer . This is insurance to prevent beams and hull departing each others company.

"It has a short overall beam (as is usual in the early classics) but also a very low bridgedeck clearance. It is a pitty because the hulls seems to be in a good shape."

"The Tanenui was designed to be built in foam sandwich, and latter it was adapted to plywood construction. But this boat has rigid beams which I do not believe where in the original design."
