Wharram Builders and Friends

uneventful, relatively, trailer journey from up north. Strange set of very quality hulls left more or less alone for over 10 years. No deck, no cockpit, never launched, hatches bad and gone, but very quality work elsewhere.

No plans which is a really really irritating feature of this. The original plans purchaser is out of san diego, and named rick stopard or some variant. But the builder got the plans from him and lost them when his pickup was stolen just before he had heart attack and sold off the hulls to local boat place which sold them (10 years ago) to the guy i just got them from.

So the hulls have a few delamination issues, but will be a good test bed for the training of crew who know squat about building boats, as well as being able to be used to perfect our crab claw rig approach for when we build the tiki 38.

Working on getting boat shed ready for the build now.
