Bonjour,
Still looking for silica.
Silica is a stone, so is it possible to use limestone powder instead of silica? I can have access to plenty of limestone powder.
Is silica the same material as the one found in small bags to fight humidity? In the bags, it looks like small ballons, and It could be possible to make them as powder.
A supplier offers to me two kind of silica. One is "ordinary", one is "expansive". Any comment on this product?
Thanks for your advices,
Éric

Eric, you will find this will make for heavier fillets.I have a bucket of talc powder that went unused during my build. Why not use what the resin  companies supply.

problem is that they supply resin, hardener and nothing else. I have found epoxy A B glue, and got west system 403 , 407 and 410 from Hong Kong. No stock on 406. Anyway, let's move

What you are looking for is "Hydrophilic Fumed Silica." There is no reason you should not be able to find this in China, since China is worlds largest producer and consumer of such products. Limestone powder is not a substitute.

YES! Thank you a lot for the "real name" in English. (my English is far to be perfect) It have solved the problem instantly. No more problems.... for now. Thank you very much, to all of you!
