I will exchange room & board in Florida for help on my catamaran....

Hi! Anyone with some carpentry skills is invited to stay free in an apartment at my waterfront home on Marco Island ( have Hobie Wave, Sunfish, windsurfers, kayak, fishing, sailing, biking etc.) in exchange for help on my composite ply 45' cat. You pay only for your air fare.

You pay food? How many time you need help, is repair or build? How boat?

How long of a stay are we talking here? Is food included? How many hours a day are spent working on the boat? I might be able to spare a couple of weeks. Also would there be a spot to tie up for my Tiki 21?

of course food is included; especially if you are as good as the photos of your boat. I have twoo apartments; you can work on the boat parttime, and explore this nature preserve right on the gulf of Mexico, Incidentally, I know about tangaroas, write me! dennis

I'll be finished with my T26 soon and I'd be interested in this starting about the middle of October.  What stage are you in building?

Hi russell and janet; we have a dock and boat ramp with direck access to the Gulf; you can put your T26 there. I have no particular time when you could come. October sounds fine. My project will need about the next 4 yrs, judging by the tangaroa we built 30 yrs ago. The first 45ft hull is 1/2 way to turn-over. at present I am working on my house.

This is Dennis Schneider again; I should add that my place is on the water, and besides the  two apartments  , I also have  a large shop, AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO BUILD  THEIR OWN WHARRAM AND LIVE ON SITE, THERE IS A TOTALLY ENCLOSED WORK SPACE 45FTX13 FTX9ft high AVAILABLE  where you could build each hull, then move it out the back onto the boat ramp (max width 20ft), do the second one, move it out, and fit out there; you would only have to pay for the rent of the apartment. In south Florida you can work all year....

Dennis replies:Brandon; you can come for whatever length of time is convenient; you work with me; I'm very generous; the time depends on your skill level....
