Save your money, just go for the 63 :)
Why do you think so? Is 26 not a good design?
mate i know nothing about the pahi 26,but i am building a tiki 26 and it is alot of work even though it is asmaller cat.i would agree with tom just go and build the 63
Nice, I am considering a Tiki 26 myself. Good luck mate ;-)
I agree with Paul and Tom, if you've decided the Pahi 63, start there. To build a trial boat will just set you back 10-15k USD and 1 - 2 years in time.  You'll recover some of the money, but none of the time.  But before you build, invest in the time and money to go see one and sail on one.  Or at least one of the larger designs, so you have a feeling for what you're taking on and how it works.

I think like Paul and Russell, I was  thinking building Tiki 21, but all or allmost guys who doing one, doing before one bigger. So I go to my bigger...Tiki 30.

But my drean is one Pahi 42 "Capitain Cook".

note: this is my frist build

I agree with the majority that building a bigger boat is the best way to go, mind you a 63 would daunt me. I have had 2 Pahi 42s, One i bought fully built, just a tiny bit of finishing off, but my second Pahi 42 is more or less a complete rebuild. So good luck, happy building and eventually happy sailing.

I love a Tikiroa... if I will build one, I will use a wing sail and Tiki 26 cockpit. But I never sail one Pahi.

You sell your 42?

you will love this one :

if you have two wife and four children this is the boat you need :

small is easy to handle , to built , to maintain, is cheap and safe,

small is beautifull

Thanks for sharing the photograph. The Magic Carpet is one of the most beautiful Tikiroas that I have seen (in the web!). Do you have any other pictures? The flickr link is not working now.
Thanks !!!
