I greatly enjoyed reading this book, it certainly is a very interesting true story of how a young couple followed their dream, built a Wharram Narai Mk IV England and sailed to New Zealand, via the Panama Canal. They achieved so much and had so many adventures during their voyage, despite initially having very little sailing experience.
I met Tim and Heather soon after their arrival in Auckland NZ in the 1980s and at the time was half way through building my own Narai. My wife and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to sail on Ika Roa in the Hauraki Gulf.
Some times progress can seem slow when boat building and it was very inspiring to hear first hand of their voyage. It helped keep my dream alive. We too finished and launched our catamaran and are still sailing.
