what's the best way to fit firmly the lashings beteween hulls and beams?

i'd want to know all methods used. in my former tiki 26 i put the ropes a couple of hours in water prior to fit them; now in the tiki 38 it's no so easy.

Tks for your reply Bertrand and all the best for you all.

Remember that in Uruguay you can stay as long as you want, withour limit; only an annual fee after 9 months of stay.

Salut Bertrand,

lashing and unlashing the beams take quite a long time :

What do you think ok this solution , made in inox , very good quality ( not the sheap one in supermarket , for 26 "

I personally wouldn't use stainless fittings like these if I was sailing offshore but coastally might be alright. Metal fatigue would be my concern. But if they are well over spec. and  you have some good webbing give it a go! Or maybe just use these fittings on the outside lashings. I made up stainless steel caps on the beam tops to stop the rope working into the wood on my t 30 and then used wedges for the final tightening. This was a good system and easy to tighten again when nec.
