Congrats!!!
..
Now bring it down, we have to take that boat to the water ;c)
Thanks fellas, I'm glad i did it because I made some of the stays too long. A mate of mine ended up helping me. During the lifting the mast slipped but luckily the heel caught onto the mast step and I was able to winch it back up slowly.Raising it from the mast from the bows is not all beer and skittles for sure.
!!!!!!!Good On Ya!!!!!!!!
Well done !!! If you got my p.m. I did mention to look out for personal safety .... the mast foot is under high strain in the early stage of the lift. I do not know what style mast step is in your plans, mine was always a forward facing tabernacle with raising over the bow in mind. As recommended by J. W.
I think anyone who aspires to independence should be set-up to do this easily. If you are set-up it is very simple. Lash-ups are difficult. Once you leave marina - world cranes are few and far between. And expensive.
I'd heard there were dangerous critters in the Ozzie Bush, little did I know! ;~)
Kim, in the foliage near the power pole lives a resident Frogmouth Owl, he watched the whole mast op. without blinking as it were.
The Boss Hog!
Well done.looking great
Thanks all for the encouragement, she looks the goods with her tail up.
