Impressive technique mate. The T26 is going to seem like an ocean liner after your current ride.

Ugly place to spend time matey!
I used to do a lot of sea kayak training in the river bar at Cotton Tree and remember often seeing a triak type rig on the river beach in front of the holiday park, same color and style as yours, any chance it was you?
Cheers,
Shaun

Thanks fellas. Pelagic fishing is one of my passions. Whilst building tiki Warthog I did not fish much, due to the build.I recently got permanent residency here in OZ. It was a big gamble to build the boat on a temporary visa that I had to renew every 3months.The pressure was immense, the relief after 10 years of visa dramas even greater.

Shaun, mate I mostly fish offshore. The vid does not show it but the wind picked up to 25knts I was surfing the windswell of about 1.5m got the boatspeed up to 9.8 knts. It's a pretty awesome ride.

Paul, the marlin would have caught you!! ;-) Would  be a wild ride, though...Had a neighbor who kayak-fished. He gifted me with some of his bounty from time to time.

Hey Kim, the marlin here are baby blacks say around 25kg mark.

When I go kayak fishing here in the UK, I pop my spray deck off and put my catch in a washing bowl inside. I don't fancy a 25kg marlin between my legs!

Don't you just love that exposure when you get in the trough, all alone, in a 12ft boat a few mile off shore? I do.

Great video Kim

I meant Paul,  although I'm sure Kim has great videos too
