"Hello,Jeroen I bought Kathleen in 2002 .She has had line lashings the entire time.I use 8 plait 4mm. polyester,with 6 wraps per lashing,so thats about 100ft per beam.the line will last for years. I recently replaced the aft beam lashings  at 5…"

" HI Bill,The webbing is constructed from one continuous piece of 1inch wide polyester the intrsections are welded together so the is no stitching.After its made it is coated in vinyl.Very stong and light,stable to move about on."

"I use line .I have pulled it so tight it crushed the skin on top of the beams making repairs nessesary  I add extra glass on top and corners of the beams .anyway keep an eye on it cause it takes a couple of years to show."

Im a carpenter, Mary is Nurse Practitioner and student.That keeps her busy .THE BOAT is my hobby and pastime, keeps me mostly out of trouble.When we find time ,we love to take her out for a sail down the beach or maybe a race against some of the local boats.
