Hi Scott,

Looks like the build is coming along well and she looks beautiful! I'm sure you will be afloat and sailing later this year. Look forward to seeing your launch pics and the huge grin on your face!!

All the best

Rory

Scott,I have followed your example and glued and glassed conduit in the forward lip of the cockpit for the wiring to both hulls, also I will mount my compass as you have done, now my question to you is will the compass not be affected by the wiring?

cheers paul

Hi Paul, I think it may be affected somewhat, but the compass can be compensated once it's installed.  I couldn't really think of a better place to put it in my cockpit, as it would also be affected by the larger metal mass of the outboard or sheet winches if placed near those.  The wiring in my forward conduit will not be a lot, as I only need one circuit to the port hull for lights and fans, and then the masthead lights and an antennae coax to the mast.

Scott -- As you know I am trying to get this web site for the Hui Wharram.  I would like to share a few of your photos for the group.

Cheers,

Thom
