"Forgot to say. My Pahi42 is schooner riged, just like the Tiki 38. My Fore and Main masts are 13m heigh."

Raise the masts of the Tiki 38

This is Giovani from Tiki 38 Amelia, currently living aboard in Paraty- RJ, Brazil, a region of light winds.I am studying the possibility of increasing the masts to 12m, changing the service sails, installing a bowsprit and installing a screecher and a gennaker sail.Any suggestions?The idea would be to increase the masts in the TOP region, increasing them with an aluminum tube, leaving approximately 1m inside the wooden mast and 2m above.See More

"ss whip antenna . you can use ,with the proper isolators ,use a shroud for an ssb antenna, I guess."

"Giovani, that's a useful list. But why no recommended outboards for the Raka design? (Also for the Tama Moana, Child of the Sea, which is almost identical in hull dimensions, sail area, and weights as Raka.)"

"With props as small as on outboard engines, rotatition direction does not matter, only with big propellers and lower revs.."

Maybe you are looking at the picture of the oro that I had my t 38 is not a very big pod but is all enclosed about 1.8 x 2.4 maybe
