Wharram wanted to loan

Hi, I run www.oceanswatch.org We do marine conservation and sustainable developement work with communities mainly in the SW Pacific. We have a mono and a Tiki 38 on loan to us to run our expeditions. Hi Mark, good to hear from you. Not really had the time for fundraising and anyway we have just been gifted use of a nice Hanse 54. Still very keen to get an Islander as I am certain they would do a great job. Is your boat finished and sailing?

No where near it! The Pahi was shelved for a long time while we tried to get the house sorted out but it's back on track now. Upon completion we were thinking on re-locating to New Zealand for six months of the year at least Boat building and repair during the Irish winters has become an absolute Joke

Sounds like a good plan. There is plenty of work during the NZ summer from all the overseas boats. A good boatbuilder working from a van (I.e. low overheads) can compete well in Whangarei. Feel free to talk to me about this, I have had a lot to do with the marine industry here.

Sounds great! Van? I'll be working off of the back of my boat. By that time I should have finished my exams at Lloyd's Maritime Academy so I'll have a Surveyors Certificate too. Could do new builds, repairs and surveys, maybe a bit of chartering.
