It was a thread on Saililng Anarchy several years ago, about repairing mast extrusions, et al.  One of the more knowledgeable participants shared this drawing.  Several of the old Wharram builders used this technique... I think Steve Moore(?) who signed onto this board a few months ago, would be a good source of more info. He used to build grp versions of the tikis.
