We launched in what we thought were 15 knot winds, but they ended up in the 20 range. This boat can go. I ended up taking 8" out of our dyneema stays before we went out again the next day.

Fantastic. Any data on how fast your Hitia 17 goes, e.g. on a beam reach in 20 knots steady? BTW the hatch covers are gorgeous!
