Works well going to weather in a stiff breeze to flatten the lower/middle part of the mainsail. Still need lots of gaff tension as well. Allows the jib to be sheeted in tighter without backwinding the main. Only really useful in windy conditions to weather. You can see bottom block attached to my custom soft padeyes.

Good to have such gear at the ready. . .I was happy to see that the Tasker main came with  a Cunningham grommet.
