tiki 30 approaching the cradles- cradles were made of adjustable pipe scaffold pads- gonna have to rig those pads to stay in the "open" position!  [they want to stay 'closed' and VERY inconvenient]  I took Boatsmith's advice and placed the motor in cockpit's center. Happy to report that even at low low speeds I felt confident in its maneuverability - Second try and it was on its marks!

Pipe scaffold pads - you just answered one of my questions. So when trailering, the weight of the boat is sitting on rollers and the pads are stabilizing the hulls? Is that how it works? brilliant!

yes Rod- I crank those pads nice and tight so I suppose they provide some small weight transfer but you are right- vast majority of the weight is on the rollers
