Lyons + fishing = Carraigaholt ? Also there was a Lyons fishing out of Seafield many many years ago. The remains of the old double ender is there still. I kept my boat in Carraigaholt for a year or two in mid '90's. Good spot. In Kinvarra / Ballyvaughan now. Say Hello if you pass the boat.

Galway Bay

I had my Pahi I kept her up the creek in the old harbour. I was there for probably 2 yrs, Carraigaholt was a lively spot then the Long Dock had recently been renovated and The Anchor was open. All much quieter now but still a lovely spot to operate out of. It is definitely on my list of places for this summer's cruise !
