Professional Boat builder and Lloyd's qualified Small Craft Surveyor to trade. Studied at James Watt College of Yacht & Boatbuilding and Lloyd's Maritime Academy. Spend at least 6 months a year sailing around the South Pacific. Spent far too much time in my job standing on the dock and watching others do it.

    Thanks Mark
It has been fun getting it back together and being able to go sailing with it at the same time.

Thanks for the post and so quick - less than a day!!!

The boat is ashore here at home in east Clare.

I am almost finished a major rebuild. I intend to launch in Ballyvaughan early summer 2011.

The major modification I made was to eliminate beams 2 and 4 and put in a new full length beam instead of the short mast support one. Much better support for mast also better deck/cockpit/cabin layout.

I have posted more details on the Wharram Forum in News and Pahi 31 .

When I launch I will take photos and post them that will be easier to understand perhaps.

Yes! Spirit yachts from Ipswich! Beautiful boat. Now I am working on a 147' Dubois Ketch with my Boyfriend. Sailed from Alaska to Patagonia....and across the Med. Now we are in Greece. Still dreaming of Wharrams though....saw one in Italy!
