Need tech docs for Tangaroa MK1-4 !

Dear, Wharram's Family!

I am happy owner of Tangaroa MK1 "Faoileag" and right now i am trying to register it on Ukrainian Flag.

My local SHIPPING REGISTER OF UKRAINE asks for some technical documents on my boat. They need calculations for wave height limits and wind limits for Tangaroa Project. 

I understand that different countries has a different rules. May be someone have any documents or calculations for Tangaroa.

You should contact JWD directly for that information, since the MKI design has been discontinued.

Is it necessary for Register or any other technical supervisor organizations to check possibility of Tangaroa seaworthy ability in numbers, like wind limits or wave height limits?

You are correct that requirements are different in different countries.  It can also be different for old boats built before requirements were introduced. In the UK even today you don't need this data if a boat is homebuilt and not sold within the first 5 years, so long as you don't use it for any commercial purpose such as charter.  Maybe in your country an old boat or homebuilt boat can be treated differently??
