Ocean sail to test the new autopilot setup on the Tiki 21. Started off as trip to Half Moon Bay - cancelled due to bad visibility and ran back into SF Bay.

Roger your A.P. setup looks unique, could you show how you set it up ?
Crikey I did not realize you are a kiwi ;)
Hi Paul,
How can you tell I'm a Kiwi!? The tiller pilot is connected to a small Ronstan jib track, which is connected to lines that run to a point 18" from the rudder pivot - this is where you would connect the tiller pilot to a conventional tiller on a mono. The line has section of chain so that you can drop it over the track pin anytime you want to use the autopilot - then you put the autopilot on top of the pin. Sounds complicated, but its not. I will do a detailed blog post soon.
Choice bro.
That is a great idea.
