Swim ladder on smaller Wharrams / getting dogs and people onboard

What are others doing to make it easy to get dogs (and people) on board when not beside a dock?  Getting our 60 pound dog off and on the boat during a camping trip is a particular concern.On the Mana the mizzen mast on the aft crossbeam and the mizzen sail and its lines aft of that create a lot of "busy-ness" in that area. Any suggestions out there? photos of swim ladder arrangements on Tiki 21s? Other options?

Thanks, George. That is what I would like to add to the Mana but the practicalities so far have stopped me. My boat is tarped up now for the winter so I can't illustrate with a photo the challenge that I am facing. Next spring when the boat is back in the water, I will take some photos. Wishing you success with your refit.
