What boat (s) are you building or do you own?

We currently own 3 small open boats: a Flits, an Optimist and a steel workersboat. Before we owned a 40ft aluminium Pouvreau sailing yacht from 1980 designed by Gilles Vaton and therefore a mahagony IJsselmeerkruiser.
In my childhood we spend each summer on our wooden marine barkas motorboat and learned to sail in an Akkrumer jol and a Vrijheid..All 3 are still in posession and cared for by my 86-year old father.

About me or us?

Together with my husband, our daughter and, in the following years, our two sons, we sailed our Pouvreau Beg Rohu each summer more southwards, from Makkum, Fryslân/the Netherlands to her Foleux, Brittany/France. There, near the national sailing school of which she was the flagship, we sold her.

Now we live near the Waddensea I am looking for another sailingboat, maybe for the first time a Wharram cat, to also sail singlehanded or with our teenaged childfen.
