Hi I am having to replace my rudders due to beaching damage. I would like to make them from composite materials to keep them light and also be able to lift them as my boat is on a drying mooring. So…Continue

"Where is Tiki 31 "Rio" located these days? That is an interesting pod design.  Does windage effect Rio's sailing performance much, do you think?"

Hi David,

Dave Hender has been trying to contact you since he heard that BT had a new owner, he's living in NZ, his email: <bigtiddles@pocketmail.com.au>; or he and Jane are on Facebook, if you go to my Multihull Surveys Facebook page, you'll see a post from him. How's the refit coming? Will you be sailing the coming summer? It would be interesting to see the boat again.

I think that the email address I gave you is out of date! Try bigtiddles69@gmail.com, or go facebook.

Hi Steve,
It's great to hear back so quick from you. The renovations are going well although the winter and work pressure has stopped me temporarily. We had some miss fortune this last August. Tracey and I were due to sail the east coast as the tail end of the hurricane came through. The tidal surge ripped off the rudder pintals and has damaged both rudders. I am at present trying to redesign them so that they lift clear of the sand. I would be delighted for you to come and see her, anytime. Well I have to go i will email you again later today. If you want to contact me me number js 07791772357 its always on. Kind regards David
