...I woke up next to the Ruy Shango and Fatima. After a quick desejum, falls on the stack of them to leave early. I passed the camera to Fatima. We left approx. 8:30 in the engine, almost no wind. Decided to sail in the small breeze that appeared, but the wind for the terror of Fatima, and my pleasure, increased rapidly atinjindo gusts of 15 knots, the Tiki shot and bent the tip of the Blue Lagoon quickly thought Cmte Ruy was then coasting the Island Great to give shelter to SW increased, but to my surprise the wind across the tip and SE was increasing. I took to cross the channel and move to the side of the continent. Only the wind continued prowling and established the NE, allowing me a budget in the high mountains parallel to the coast. The Tiki 30 is going well in these conditions, 60 º angle with the wind, a budget open and we rode well ..
The Xango suffered only the engine, that upwind with choppy sea, Fatima left terrified Ruy nervous.
distract me When trying to tie the rudder I did not see when, but suddenly gave lack of hatchway cover page. The same one that had broken, I retired, took to the site to finish strong, but quizumba, not leave, moreover forgot to tie it. I looked at the stern saw it floating about 300 m, rolled the jib, started the engine, I downloaded the great, but when I returned to the boat, no longer met, making zig zags back nearly a mile, I was pissed at loss at this time had about 20 knots of wind, I search as closed and returned the bow into the wind ...tikirio.blogspot.com
