Both hulls are a total loss but the general structure was intact. The beams were in their place without damage to themselves and their attachment points.

Very sad.

But not a total loss. There are plenty of things you may salvage from the hulls. And remember how fast a hull goes up. You have the experience, you have a lot that can be salvaged, you know what to do, all you need now is some plywood and epoxy and you'll be on your feet in no time.

hallo ralf,

i am very sorry for your lost. i watch this typhoon here in the Philippines on the weather charts...

i was in bombolon, south negros, in a "safe anchorage...  even here, south of 10 degree north, i can hit you. they say there was no typhoon in the last 12 years in this area. but as we see. you can never be sure.

i know you as one of the "old guy's" here on this platform. you have given good input information to all of us. thanks

i wish you all the best and the energy to fix the boat again...

cheers hans

After checking out the pictures carefully, I would say turn the ship as is on the back like a turtle. You might need a crane for help. Then rebuild her from the outside. Once this is done, turn her around again,  go inside and you will end up with a boat this is a bit heavier and a bit stronger.
