Thnx Kim,it is only a test fit as the bamboo still needs a bit of time to dry out properly before i glue it up.

Great set up Paul and The bamboo is brilliant !! The trim tab is similar to how we plan to make ours once we figure out the correct size. Did you go with about 20% of the wet area of the rudder?

Yes,Rob and Beth about 20%,but there was no complicated mathematics as I guesstimated the overall size of the tab,ie a quarter the size of the rudder and a little less.
