great looking cockpit! I like your idea of the drain-holes...

This is my friend Fred idea, We have 4 drain holes 40mm in front and in the back we have the hole motor, we do this because we wanna dry seat lockers

Cockpit drains are very good things! If a wave comes on board, you want it to leave as fast as it came!

We found that when Peace sails fast, sometimes water splashes in through the forward facing cockpit drain holes as per plan.  We were able to stop this and still allow the drains to work well, by placing a flexible rubber flap on the outside which is fastened only at the top edge.  When water needs to go out, it just pushes out against the flexible rubber flap and out it goes.  But when water tries to come in, it just closes that flap tighter.  Perfect!  Also cheap!  How Wharram can you get!!!
