hi all i was watching a documentary last night in the bbc earth series on the south pacific islands.wow what a wonderfull program and i would recomend it to anyone who plans on cruising that part of the world.they featured a section on how humans travelled to the islands with magnificent craft built by the lapita people and their descendants.their is a crab claw rigged outrigger canoe that is simply amazing,see it if you can.
