Bonjour,
My battery is not charged by my solar panel, and I do not understand why.
Also, when I try to charge it directly on a socket, I must unplug the charge controler or the battery won't charge.
Can it be the same problem with the silar panel? And if yes do I really need a controler? Is this one unadapted? And if yes, which one may I use?
My solar panel is a SunWare - Solar Panel Series-40 SW 40163 25 Wp.
My controller is a Victron Energy MPPT 75/10 12/24V
My battery is a 12v Lithium battery.
Since the controller is blinking normally, I believe that my wiring is correct.
I include a picture of the box.
Any help is welcome.

How do you know it is not charging?

The solar panel you listed will only put about 7-8 Amp hours per day into the battery, maybe 10Ah with the Victron. If you are consuming 5-6Ah per day or more, then your battery will never get charged with this solar panel.

You need to have a solar array than can put 20-30% more power back into the battery bank than you consume on average.

Example: If you consume 50Ah per day, then you need a 225W solar panel (13.2A x 5 sun hours per day = 66Ah) in order to ensure that the battery gets fully recharged on a normal basis.

Thank you Boat Builder.

It works now. I only use it for a small lamp in the cabin and for nav-mooring light. Appreciate your help and info.
