2010 Florida Winter Wharram Rendezvous

 This was a real winter event this year as Fl was being raked by one cold front after another. Maybe not as cold as many others this time of the year but we did have our Canadian visitors in jackets and hats instead of their bathing suits.

 We had only three Wharrams in attendance. We also had two Richard Woods 'designs( Richard was there on his new Transit 38 and the Curtis' were there on their Romany) and a very unusual proa designed and built by a fellow named Gary from Saint Augustine.Gene perry was there with his new to him Piver tri. Martin and Edith were their with teir kids and  Tiki 38. Of course we were there with our Tiki 30

We did have a bunch of folks that flew/drove in from other parts of the country to see boats and talk boats. Known to many readers of this forum the Kittles from Kittywake stopped by and the Sheridans came over from England where they have a Tiki 30.

 I believe that everyone had a good time and some of us went for an exhilarating sail on Sunday afternoon.
