Hi Steve, I chartered a weeks sailing with you about 28 years ago aboard 'Imagine' it was a wonderful week, we also got to try out your Tiki 21 ( daffodil I think it was called ) Your standard of build was truly impressive, glad your on the site, as Galway said 'your input will be a great asset.

Hi Barrie, they were good days....

The 21 was called Dandelion, the first of several we gave that name. Imagine was very badly damaged by incompetent craning in the boatyard and we put her in one corner of the yard  and tried not to look at her for some years while we sailed Tiki 26 etc.Eventually we decided on a complete rebuild, which turned into a redesign, the work goes on :-)

Hi Steve. joyeux Noël from the Grand Turks Bahamas island. I am the one who bought Pélican the second of the Tiki 36 prototypes, from à Jersey Island Baker mathew Thomasson, 4 years ago. She is renamed Tigaki (first name of my former Tiki 28 also à prototype of JWD). I believe you had à hand in both projects. Tigaki has been across and is now reaching her self to cross back to Europe. If I may id. like to ask you à technical question. There are 2 planks bordering the front of the halls on the wooden caillebotis passerelle. The Starboard one ripped off its screws twice already. I was wondering What was the exact structural rôle of those planks. If you have à functionnal email adress, ill. be more than happy to make some pix and send them for advice. My email is jeanmichelbader@gmail.com. I try to get all my emails every time there is wifi somewhere. Take care. Cheers. Jean Michel
