Tightening fraps w mole grips

When holding tension w mole grips how do you keep from damaging your line? Are there plastic tip covers? Or do you wrap w piece of canvas? Sean

- I bought 4 yrs ago from Joe and Bina Barreca. Pantala has sailed across the Gulf of Alaska twice then down west coast to here. Her slatted deck is lashed to the cross beams. I have sofar installed an OB transom and 2 new trampolines, I will experiment w my fish chairs and tiller extension next Fall.
