Hi Roland,
Thanks for contacting us about Peace IV. Please keep us up to date on how she is, where she is, and what you are doing with her. She is a member of our family in some ways, because we built her and she was our home for over 50,000 miles. I would love it if you sent me her current survey and some detailed photographs of her.
When we sold her to Tom and Marlene, she was in good condition structurally, and I would have sailed across the Atlantic in her without any worries at all. I believe Tom and Marlene were more interested in party time and fishing than actually sailing her. I believe she has bigger engines so I hope she is still on her lines and not too heavy in the stern.
Will you be sailing her locally in Puerto Rico, or will you come north and let us see her once again? We will be sailing to Bahamas over the winter and she is well known there as well as all along the US east coast.
Please feel free to contact us as often as you wish. We are so glad she will have a new owner once again and hope for the best for you and for Peace IV.

Roland,
Our "new" boat is a 30 year old Cape Dory motor sailor which is 30 feet long, and I can easily single hand her. Neville has poor balance these days so the wide decks of the Wharram design were no longer safe for him and at my age (75) Peace IV was just too much boat for an old lady. Our boat is Peace at Last.
Roland, I wrote you a long letter re how to tighten your rig, and about ropes and knots in general. Did you get it?
