A Tiki 38, named Pumpkin, and built by Andy Smith in the Philippines. Pumpkin was sailed by her first owner to Korea, and later back to the Philippines. Phyl Watson, a very nice person from whom I bought Pumpkin sailed her from the Philippines to Malaysia.
Pumpkin is currently laying on the hard stand in Port Klang.
The foremast of my tiki 38 was put down for repairs on the mastcase. I will have to put it up again, the boat being on the water. Can anyone share experience on how this is best done? Thanks!
Hi Patrick
Pumkin looks great. I think I met the previous owner when I sailed in to Dartmouth, UK. If it's the right guy he works with the Harbour authority and motored over when he saw my Tiki 31. I believe he's looking for something smaller and closer to home.
Do you have any intention of sailing her back to Europe?
Happy sailing
Curious what's up with Pumpkin? Do you still own her? She is being offered for sale in Krabi Thailand, are you the seller? If so, have the repairs from the Rot been completed properly?
