Jeremy Walker replied to matt connolly's discussion Forestay bridle angle
"If the jib tack point is far enough forward, you might consider dropping the connecting beam onto the decks, in line with a projected forestay. Then it would help to drop the bridle leg attachment points further down the stems. This would improve…"

Hi Jeremy Yup I met Hans in Tahiti and kept in contact till we got to NZ. I have assisted with his court matters and the irony is that he is now in Pietermaritzburg, 60kms up the road from Westville where I used to live. I visited him regularly while he was in Auckland. He has served enough time in Auckland to be eligible for parole time wise but has he was a fugitive from SA that may hold his application up for a while. Given how full SA prisons are and that he is a foreigner, I do not expect him to be in too long. I hope I am right!!

Dragon is now moored in Whitford, Auckland. I am thoroughly enjoying sailing around here!!

Cheers,

Dave

Jeremy I checked your page after your very sensible contribution to "Anchors...." Have you details / photos of the shunting Pahi you mentioned ? You might post some details for us in the Small Pahi group ? I know there would be great interest.

Happy Sailing !!
