What size outboard for Tiki 38 with single pod infront of rear mast. Cannot aford 4 stroke. Had a 15 hp but previous owner feels to small. Would a 30 hp be to big?ThanxContinue

"Have you planned where to put heavy cleats for anchor warp and or chain. Rollers forward for stowing anchors..? I drilled big holes and then filled them with epoxy for all my windlass and cleat bolts. Also holes for running cables for the windlass.…"

"when you are already that far I would recommend that you extend the cheeks of the mast tabernacle and then run a bot through it and through the mast as well, this will enable you to lower and raise the mast much easier (tilting it backward)."
