Nice touch.  I've got a friend with access to a CNC router.  I wonder if he can make me a pattern to use with my plunge router?  I presume the low tech approach would be to cut it using a scroll saw.

It wasn't done by me, so I don't know how it was done. You could go high tech since nobody would know once your done.....
