Normal cruise with 9.9 High Thrust Yamaha pushing overloaded cruising condition boat down intracoastal waterway. Speed typically between 5 and 8 mph with extremes of 3.5 in very rough stuff to 9 or so with everything headed in the same direction Chart plotter is a lifesaver. It did show us on dry land many times when we were in a narrow channel like the Dismal swamp for example. The eyeball still rules!!
