Nothing too special, just finally got the hatches secure. The sliding aft hatches have a pair of saddles mounted to the underside with a knotted line that I run to a small cleat. The hinged forward hatches have a lockable, waterproof, almost flush tee handle latch. I'm currently in the NE of the U.S. (wife needed me to go along on a visit to her sisters!) so I have the front hatches locked, and the rear hatches snug but cracked a bit for extra ventilation. This is a rainproof setup, so I can close the ports and still vent the cabins. This way there are two vents (Beckman vent on the forward cabin roof) in each cabin.
