I scored just below the antifouling paint all the way around the dory. This let me get a scraper underneath the epoxy/glass to remove the damaged section. I removed the whole bottom area in order to put a new layer of epoxy/glass on. . . I'll fair the still good epoxy/glass layer prior to laying on the new layer(s).

Mr Whytmyre Sir, I recognized those beige garage doors, and suddenly it hit me. Your good self was all tied up and suspended from said doors. Now you are stripping in front of them....?
