Hi- Thank you for this website [my donation was via my Company]   what a tremendous resource!  Sincerely hope  there has been some "pay off"  for you.

I have a question regarding your cargo strap tie down beams [Tiki30] i want to do this as well - are there specific modifications you would recommend ?   Add ply reinforcement to slope portion?  add wood to eliminate the area of no strap/beam contact from top to bottom of beam?  a formed channel to prevent any strap lateral movement?  Thanks again.  I am now building beams so there has begun to be an 'end' in sight.  Perhaps someday a visit to you in Texas[?  ] can happen.  Thanks, Curt

Thanks for the reply- yeah- i long ago decided that cargo straps [ratchet style] had to be the better  set up.  I knew you had plenty of sail time with them- glad I can go w/ stock construction.

Thanks Matey, hopefully it won't take too long to resurrect her and get water under the keels as it should be!
