    Hi Luis
the Ama is build exactly according to the plans of James - 5 layers of wood, inside hollow. Maybe it looks different with the black colour. I´m happy with its weight, and this is I think, a question of the lightweight of the Abachi wood I used. Abachi is usually used for sauna equipments.
    Greetings Boris

Dear Luis, we have sent you an email but just in case you do not get it, we are John and Kat from Australia, members of the PCA and we are building a 42' Pahi due to launch in about a year. We will be in Montevideo on Friday 28th January just for the day. If you are going to be in the area and would be happy to meet with us to discuss Wharram building and owning, we would enjoy it very much. Please let us know as soon as possible.
    Regards
    John and Kat

Hello Luis. I am resuming giving news: I spent from 22 déc 2013 to 9th january 2014 crossing from Tenerife Canary archipelago to Pointe à Pitre Guadeloupe, some 2800 miles in 19 days on the monohull (boy did we roll!!) of a friend. Now I am preparing my Tigaki Tiki 36 for her crossing next december. Plenty of work in front of me for the next months and a lot of bad weather here in Brest. Do you sail much on yours? Happy new year Jean-Michel
