Hi Hartmut, Glad you liked the Costa Rica Develpment. We hope to surf, sail, and build cool boats and houses with other like minded people.
The Tehini sailed like a dream, Fast - Stable, We had the largest fully battened main (and mizzen) on the west coast at the time. I think it was a little too powerful for the wharram style - but that was our personal preference at the time. I would prefer the tiki wingsail these days. The boat was like sailing a tennis court across the ocean - big, flat and stable

    Hi Hartmut
I replied to your comment the other day but I am not sure it posted.
I'm glad you liked our website and Costa Rica project. The Tehini sailed very well. It was a powerful rig for a Wharram with fully battened main and mizzen. Jay Kantola designed the rig and bulwarks. Our knot meter only went to 28 and we had it pegged more than once. I would now prefer a tiki rig as I like safety over speed.
I hope you too get to build a nice wharram and go sailing into the heart of the ocean
